Dr. Madhu Pamganamamula is a highly esteemed physician, currently serving as the President and Medical Director of the Center for Hypertension and Internal Medicine, established in 2008 in Odessa, Texas. He holds board certifications in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine and is certified in Obesity Medicine, Clinical Lipidology, and Clinical Densitometry. Additionally, he is a certified DOT Medical Examiner and was previously certified in Advanced Diabetes Management and Clinical Hypertension.
Dr. Pamganamamula has held significant roles throughout his career, including President and Vice President of the Medical Staff at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, Odessa, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Texas Tech University of Health Sciences, Odessa. He has also been a staff physician at Medical Center Hospital and Odessa Regional Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Pamganamamula has served as Medical Director at Deering’s Nursing Home, Permian Research Foundation, and Odessa Sleep Associate. He has been an advisory board member and speaker for pharmaceutical giants Takeda and Sanofi, and a consultant for Novartis, Pfizer, Daiichi-Sankyo, BI, Lilly, Lundbeck, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Pamganamamula additionally focuses on Preventive Cardiology and is a Cleerly CCTA enabled provider. He is a partner at Odessa Sleep Associates, where he provides services for sleep-related problems.
His research experience is extensive, having served as a Clinical Research Fellow in Gastroenterology at Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia, and as a Research Coordinator for ALLHAT at UMDNJ. He has published numerous papers, including articles in the Journal of American Society of Hypertension and the Journal of Clinical Densitometry.
Dr. Pamganamamula's dedication to medicine has earned him several awards, including the Heritage Foundation and Odessa American Award (2019), Intern Award (1998), and the Young Investigator Award by the Chest Foundation (1999). He has also received multiple Patients' Choice Awards and Compassionate Doctor Recognitions.
